Welcome / How To
The pond's border, a planter created by stacking flat stones to form a retaining wall, is in place and the landscaper is digging a niche for the EcoSkimmer. The skimmer will be installed when the liner is in place.
The pond has been dug out and widened with the excavated dirt being used to build a berm around the filter and to raise the lower end of the pond on the sloping lot. Note the carpenter's level being used to level the edges of the new pond.
A variegated shrub, planted 7 years previously, is being trimmed back. The pond installer has extended the flexible PVC pipe prior to cutting it to the proper length. It will be trenched into place and hidden by rocks once the liner is installed. |
