The remodel project begins after the fish are caught and placed in a large tub. Here workers have already begun to unstack the rocks from the waterfall. The rocks were placed to the side and re-used in the remodel.

In preparation for removing the old liner, the accumulated muck is removed from the pond in buckets and used to fertilize adjacent flower beds. Rocks are being removed along the front edge of the water garden.

The new PondEco Melody filter is in place and the 2-inch flexible PVC tubing to connect the waterfalls to the pump inside the EcoSkimmer is in place. It is important be sure the filter is level and placed on a solid footing.
