Welcome / How To
This garden pond was built in 1997 in the front yard of a patio home in Augusta, Ga. The homeowner completed the pond himself after the landscaper he hired failed to finish the project. By the spring of 2004 the pond was showing its age and needed to be remodeled.
The pond included a small, homemade waterfall filter and a 500gph pump. The waterfall wasn't much more than a trickle and the homeowner constantly fought a leak because of the incorrect installation of the liner.
This close-up shows the minimal water flow from the falls. The water garden also shows signs of the dormant winter months. This photo was taken in early April as foliage was beginning to sprout. |
